These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) set forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the canabasser.com website (“Website”), the “Canabasser” mobile application (“Mobile Application”), and any of their related products and services (collectively, “Services”). This Agreement is legally binding between you (“User”, “you” or “your”) and Canabasser OÜ (“Canabasser OÜ”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

If you do not agree with these terms, you must not access or use the Services.

Accounts and Membership

If you create an account on the Services, you are responsible for maintaining its security and for all activities under it. Providing false or misleading information may result in account suspension or termination. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to create an account or use the Services. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate this Agreement, applicable law, or harm the integrity or reputation of the Services. We may also suspend or delete inactive accounts after prolonged inactivity.

User Conduct and Content Rules

Users must:

  • Represent themselves personally and authentically, not on behalf of others or entities.
  • Communicate respectfully. Constructive disagreement is allowed; harassment, hate speech, or demeaning language is not.
  • Avoid posting or promoting illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful content.
  • Respect other users’ privacy, boundaries, and consent.
  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes.

Example: Expressing a personal opinion (“I don’t like X”) is permitted, but calls to hostility or harm (“We should do something about them”) are strictly prohibited.

We may moderate, restrict, or remove content that violates these rules or applicable law and may report illegal activity to relevant authorities.

Free and Paid Features

Canabasser is designed so that core relationship-building functionality is available free of charge.

Free features include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating posts and responses.
  • Reading posts and responses.
  • Liking posts and responses.
  • Forming matches through mutual interest.
  • Accepting or declining matches.
  • Sending and reading letters after mutual acceptance.

These features allow users to meet, communicate, and form real connections without mandatory payment.

Certain advanced or optional features may require the use of credits or an active subscription. These typically relate to analysis, personalization, acceleration, or convenience features and do not replace mutual consent or core matching principles.

The availability, scope, or classification of free and paid features may evolve over time. Any material changes will be reflected in the Services and, where appropriate, communicated to users in advance.

Credits, Subscriptions, and Payments

Canabasser may offer:

  • Credits (consumable digital units used for specific features).
  • Subscription plans that periodically grant credits and may include additional benefits.
  • Promotional or trial credits for testing premium features.

Key principles:

  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Credits are consumed when eligible features are used.
  • Unused credits may expire depending on the specific offer or subscription terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund past payments or consumed credits.
  • Purchases are non-refundable, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

Prices, credit costs, subscription benefits, and active campaigns are displayed within the Services and on the relevant pricing or upgrade pages, which always contain the most up-to-date information.

Payments are processed by trusted third-party providers such as Mollie, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Canabasser OÜ does not store or process payment card details directly. Third-party provider terms may also apply.

Intellectual Property Rights

All trademarks, logos, software, and content on the Services are owned by Canabasser OÜ or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

User-generated content remains your property. By submitting content, you grant Canabasser OÜ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and technically process it solely for operating and improving the Services.

You warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit such content.

Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, the Services may occasionally contain typographical errors or incomplete data. We reserve the right to correct such issues at any time without prior notice.

You acknowledge that decisions made based on information from the Services are made at your own discretion.

Backups

We perform reasonable data backups but cannot guarantee loss-free recovery in all circumstances. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of any content or data you consider important.

Links to Other Resources

The Services may include links to third-party websites or services. We do not control or endorse their content and are not responsible for their practices. Accessing third-party resources is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canabasser OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Canabasser OÜ in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Mandatory consumer rights under applicable EU or US law remain unaffected.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canabasser OÜ, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims or losses arising from your violation of this Agreement or misuse of the Services.

Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by Estonian law. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Estonia, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

Changes and Amendments

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Material changes will be communicated via the Services or by email where reasonably possible.

By using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement and related policies:
